Italian glass manufacturer Bormioli Luigi's has partnered with the specialist in sustainable packaging Minelli Group In a project for a lipstick made of glass and wood. From this agreement, born Tango.

La wood it is a living material, its grain offers a particular aesthetic and a unique touch; with its transparency, the glass evokes a premium positioning. Both come together in a 100% sustainable niche product.

This next generation lipstick is built from a base of FSC certified wood with a glass top. A complete service solution, which can be fully customized through the choice of essence (beech, ash, maple…) and finish (natural varnish, stain, metallization, standard and custom colours…). For functional reasons, the central ring is made of bioplastic, with a removable click mechanism.

For this innovation, Minelli's mPackting division and Bormioli Luigi worked with a circle focus. Tango is designed above all as a bespoke product thanks to its strong identity and its rechargeable function. In addition, it is assembled without glue so that all its parts can be separated for recycling.
