Cosfibel Premium Exclusive responded to the creative challenge of this concept designed by the Pocket Rocket Creative agency to evoke the old motorboats.
For the launch of its 1980-year-old 36 vintage limited edition, the Scottish Distillery Bunnahabhain I wanted a case that would evoke the elegance of those luxurious, quality wood-clad boats.
The case, made of MDF, is veneered in five specially selected woods. On the front, a metal plate is accompanied by metallic gold lettering and black screen-printed text. Below, an embossed epoxy plaque depicts the Isle of Islay in Scotland, where the distillery is located. Inside the case, the text is screen-printed on a genuine leather insert. The insert that holds the bottle in place was hand-stitched with a diamond-shaped motif reminiscent of the seats on a motorboat.
