On February 20, the official ceremony included speeches by David Trabal, general director of FANUC Iberia, Marco Ghirardello, president and CEO of FANUC Europe Corporation, Kenji Yamaguchi, president and CEO of FANUC Corporation and, as special guest, Xabier Ortueta, general director of AFM (Advanced Manufacturing Technologies).
David Trabal highlighted in his speech the importance that clients have had in all the decisions made for the construction of this new headquarters: “this has been a project that began to take shape in 2017, and that always had as its central point improving service to our clients. Based on this objective, we carefully designed all the spaces that we inaugurate today.”
Marco Ghirardello highlighted the importance of the Iberian market for FANUC: “The Iberian Peninsula is a key market for us and we are committed to making it grow together with you.”
Kenji Yamaguchi presented the main new features from FANUC, such as the new FANUC 500i-A Series CNC, developed with a completely new platform, and the new “R-50iA” robot controller equipped with safety measures. “Today, we are entering a new era of unprecedented automation demands.
