The PCD Innovation Awards set the tone for the opening day of Paris Packaging Week 2024, to recognize the most technically innovative and beautiful packaging in perfumes, cosmetics, personal care, hair care and skin care.
The jury, which included representatives of powerful brands such as Chanel, Cartier, Interparfums, L'Oréal, The Estée Lauder Companies and Groupe Clarins, among others, and headed by the president of the jury and packaging expert Herve Bouix, met on December 14, 2023, in Jujin New York to select the winners from an initial group of more than 220 participants. All finalist works were displayed in a gallery dedicated to the Innovation Awards in the Paris Packaging Week.
In total, 15 awards and 10 certificates were awarded in the nine categories contested, with the president of the jury and Jean-Louis Mathiez, owner of Cinqpats, an expert in innovative cosmetic packaging, presiding over the ceremony on the Circular Economy stage during the fair.
