Marco Arroyo-Vazquez has designed the conceptual container for Booze, a Turkish brand of olive oil. The design is inspired by the origins of the brand and its influences. The ceramic bottle stands out for having the image of an eye, an essential symbol in the Turkish cultural tradition, without typography. It is completed with a wooden stopper.

Cugu revalues the connection of EVOO with its ancient roots, represented by the ancient olive trees of Urla, where oil production began in the world.

The logo is influenced by the Arabic calligraphy present in the Hagia Sophia medallions. The oil is packaged in 500 ml handmade ceramic bottles, with an ergonomic shape that evokes the eye again. In addition, the height of the neck was increased, stylizing it to gain presence on the shelf. The result is almost a sculpture that invites reuse and promotes the circular economy.

Marco Arroyo-Vazquez He developed Cuğu as the final study project of the master's degree in container and packaging design at the LaBasad school, tutored by Miguel Ángel del Baño, founder and creative director of Maba.
