Less than three weeks left to open Cosmetics 2018 and the cosmetic industry is preparing for one of the main annual events in the sector. From September 26 to 27, the Palau de Congressos de Barcelona will combine 1.326 m2 of exhibition space together with scientific and commercial conferences and other parallel activities that will offer visitors the opportunity to discover the latest innovations and trends in design, creation, development , marketing and production of cosmetics.
One of the main new arrivals of this edition of Cosmetorium is the increase in the space of the exhibition area, which grows 35% compared to last year. It will have a total of 128 exhibiting companies, highlighting an increase in the participation of companies from outside our country (England, France, Portugal, Germany, Korea ...) and a greater presence of the packaging sector within the fair. Thus, networking and offering new business opportunities continue to be a strong point of this event.
Another key objective is to advance the advancement of cosmetic science. Within the framework of Cosmetorium there is an extensive program of scientific conferences that will address four axes of the industry: marketing and market trends, production and industrialization, legislation, and science and technology. In parallel, there will be a series of Techfocus conferences, workshops with live demonstrations, the scientific program on innovation in Portuguese, organized by the Portuguese Society of Cosmetology Sciences (SPCC), and the exhibition of the finalist products of the Cosmetorium Awards.
