W-Ender, by Javier Calavia (ESDIR, La Rioja), is the title of the winner of the first prize of the III Contest of Glass and Creation of Verallia, endowed with € 2.500. Designed for an adventurous audience, it is inspired by canteens. Its sporty look is enhanced by a special cap that mimics those of the water containers used by cyclists and by a customizable rubber base.
The second prize, valued at € 1.300, went to A sangria to take away, please, by Jorge Errando (ELISAVA, Barcelona). It is a stackable container with a wrap-around label and an ABS cap, reminiscent of bottles from the pharmaceutical industry.
Wine For Two, by Teresa Barros (European University of Madrid), has obtained the third prize, endowed with € 900, with a half-liter bottle and two integrated glasses. It seeks to promote the culture of wine through the emotion of sharing it with another person.
As in previous editions, a Facebook Prize worth € 300 has been awarded to Of Season, by Mónica Nájera (ESDIR, La Rioja). The project has won 457 digital votes in a category that, this year, has seen more animation than in previous years, with works that exceeded 100 votes during the first three days of competition.
