The first honorable mention was for Jeroen Caelen's “banning plastic toilet roll”. Your work was submitted to the 'wild card' category. This new type of toilet paper packaging consists of a hexagonal tube designed from cardboard that also functions as a toilet paper holder. It appealed to both the judges and the general audience, as it was also the public's favorite design.

The second honorable mention was awarded to 'The Moisture Face Creme' cosmetic package designed by Abdullah Cam. The reusable cardboard pack is combined with an interchangeable plastic inner part. This solution makes plastic or aluminum coating unnecessary and recycling the package easier.

Pawel Krawczugo took home the third honorable mention with his 'TWIST' design, a discreet but functional packaging design intended for the cosmetic and other industries. Both the 2nd and 3rd award-winning awards of honor were submitted to the cosmetics category.
