Trevijano replaces the plastic in its packaging with Halopack by Hinojosa cardboard trays

Trevino, leading brand in dehydrated vegetable soups and meals and without additives, has come to terms with Hinojosa to replace the plastic packaging of these products with cardboard trays of the system halo pack.

Specifically, Trevijano will use Halopack by Hinojosa containers for its soups, dehydrated food and couscous. The brand has already started the distribution of its products in these new packages in some of the supermarket chains in which it is present. Its objective is to achieve sales close to half a million units with the new sustainable packaging during the first year of the agreement.

Halopack by Hinojosa is a food packaging system sustainable financing model which reduces the use of non-recyclable plastics. Specifically, it eliminates up to 90% single-use plastics. The remaining 10% is the film that insulates the food it contains and is applied with heat, without glue or additives, so it is easily separated from the cardboard and can also be recycled. This system, in addition, increases the useful life of food, thus reducing food waste.
