V Meeting on Packaging and Circular Economy

El Cluster of Innovation in Container and Packaging brings together once again the sector's value chain in the V END OF THE YEAR Packaging and Circular Economywhich will serve to resolve doubts about the trends, challenges and opportunities present in this area, in addition to presenting new technologies that energize this new green economy, as well as providing success stories from various experts and relevant packaging user companies. 

Specifically, the meeting is held through an open debate that will take place on October 3 in the Lluís Vives Business School, located in the Paterna Technology Park (Valencia), and which is financed by the Ministry of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor of the Generalitat Valenciana. It also has the collaboration of cabkaFits, Innotech, AIMPLAS, Grabalfa Ecoembes. 

It should be noted that one of the advantages of this format is that attendees can ask questions and exchange opinions with experts from the moment of registration and interactively during the event.  

Packaging and Circular Economy under debate 

After the welcome from Amaya Fernández, president of the Packaging Cluster, José María Fernández, director of Circular Economy at the Public Society for Environmental Management of the Basque Government – ​​IHOBE, will begin the meeting with a presentation that will discuss 'The new challenges of ecological marketing in Europe: from the fight against greenwashing to new eco-labeling systems'. 

Next, the first discussion table will begin in which the technical and legislative environment will be addressed with María Rodríguez, sustainability director ofLantero Group, as moderator of the talk, whose speakers will be Eva Rodríguez, technician from the Industry, Energy and Environment area at CEOE; Begoña Pastor, strategic partnerships and regulatory framework manager at Angela Impact Economy; and José Segarra, partner in Garrigues

After a networking coffee, Óscar Hernández, general director at Anarpla and Gloria Lázaro, general director at Repair, will participate in the second debate table on recycling and post-consumer. This talk will be guided by Germán Casado, responsible for the Drinks Companies & Non-Food sectors atEcoembes

The third panel discussion, focused on the technologies that drive the circular economy, will be moderated by Ignacio Castellano, vice president customized solutions at cabka. This debate will be led by experts such as Concha Bosch, responsible for packaging projects. AINIA; Lorena Rodríguez, packaging group leader in AIMPLAS; Beatriz Ferreira, innovation product manager South Europe at DS SMITH; Miriam Gallur, manager of the technological area of ​​new materials and packaging at ITENE; and Antonio Riaño, manager at INNOTECH

Regarding the fourth debate table, Patricia García, head of communication at Fits Packaging will moderate those in charge of showing experiences and business success stories: Manuel Esteban, packaging and POS activation manager at CEPSA; and Alejandra Navarro, sustainability packaging manager atREKKIT
