Olis Bargalló presents its new single-varietal early harvest oils

The best of the single varietals of the Arbequina variety Olis Bargallo will be dressed in luxury packaging: the mythical magnum of 1.500 ml. A unique bottle, which can also be purchased in a deluxe box, ideal as a gift. An oil that comes from the Olis Bargalló olive trees, located in Gelida (Barcelona), owned by the family for four generations. An Arbequina EVOO that, this year, as a result of the unusual high temperatures, is softer, fruitier and a little less aromatic than other vintages.

In turn, the monovarietal picual from Olis Bargalló from this campaign is a very aromatic oil, with a wide range of subtle nuances both on the nose and in the mouth.

They come from olives chosen and selected personally by Francesc Bargallo, CEO of the company, and pressed at low temperature, with the latest technological advances. Some oils that, as usual, have passed through the Tasting Panel, to receive the distinction of extra virgin olive oils. The Tasting Panel is made up of 8-12 qualified tasters and they are responsible for verifying that the oils have all the requirements and organoleptic qualities to be an extra virgin, the highest quality.

Both the monovarietal picual and the arbequina from Olis Bargalló will be available in premium 500 ml bottles, and in the Elegance 250 ml. Both containers, with the usual house brand, elegant and very recognizable, dark glass bottles to maintain and guarantee the qualities of the oils for longer.

This year, the very high temperatures and lack of rain have and will drastically affect the new olive harvest, which will make oil production 50% lower than in other seasons, according to Olis Bargalló's forecasts. Even so, the new oils from the centenary house continue to be of great quality, this year being the picual EVOO the most exceptional of its premium single varietals.
