Madriz Milk

The brand Madriz Milk expands its range of products with skimmed and semi-skimmed varieties that are currently on sale in the Hiber, Unide, Hiper Usera and Mercamax supermarkets in the Community of Madrid.

With Leche Madriz, consumers can enjoy a 100% Madrid product, traced and with guaranteed origin. “It is a rich, flavored milk that, when poured into the glass, stains it, which is a sign of its high quality. There are three aspects closely linked to the quality of Leche Madriz: the first is the Animal Welfare certification, recognized by Aenor, since the cows are calm, cared for in our family farms. Secondly, we have more than 30 years of experience in the sector and, finally, we use high technology on our farms, such as, for example, monitoring cows 24 hours a day, use of milking robots and automatic scratchers. for the cattle,” he explains. Ángel García, president of the Madrid Dairy Cooperative.

Madriz Milk is made from four bovine farms located in Griñón, Leganés, Valdemoro and Villa del Prado, which belong to the livestock families that make up the Cooperativa Lechera Madrileña. Four families that have a long tradition in the livestock sector, whose future is in danger due to the lack of personnel and the absence of generational change. ”The milk is collected entirely from the four farms. They are medium-sized and, between them, they collect 23% of the liters produced in the Community of Madrid: about 12.500.000 liters annually. Our goal is to be the milk brand most loved by the people of Madrid,” he says. Alvaro Peironcely, commercial director of Leche Madriz.
